Join us for a restorative winter session of the ancient practice of Yoga Nidra, which translates to “yogic” or “psychic sleep,” from the cosiness of your home.

Living through such unsettling and worrying times has taken a massive toll on the mind and body of many, leading to increased feelings of anxiety and depression, as well as impacting our sleep and overall mental health on a daily basis.

This gentle practice invites you to take time out and pause, with no poses or movement other than lying in restful repose, breathing deep and letting go. Through virtual visualisations, you can go deeper into your conscious, unconscious and subconscious mind, leading to total relaxation to restore the mind, body and spirit through this ‘psychic sleep’.

Just one hour of practice is said to be the equivalent of four hours of deep, quality, restorative sleep, something we could all do with right now. By activating the parasympathetic nervous system, the body’s natural healing system, we allow ourselves to naturally reset, restore and revive the body.
